Welcome to Wizard Tone Studios, a cutting-edge recording facility set within a classic, retro-inspired environment, right in the heart of the Sunjive Studios complex. We offer high-quality recording, production, mixing, and mastering services for artists of all genres in Adelaide and across Australia. But we’re more than just a recording studio—we also partner with schools, offering workshops and educational programs to inspire the next generation of musicians and audio engineers.

Driven by a team of passionate musicians and engineers, our studio is located in a beautiful, historic film scoring stage. With a commitment to excellence, we’ve designed our space to deliver both sonic quality and a vibe that sparks creativity. Tracking takes place in our spacious theatre, while mixing and mastering are handled upstairs in the intimate setting of the old projection room.

A SPACE WITH CHARACTER

At Wizard Tone Studios, the atmosphere is as important as the equipment. Our large, fantastic-sounding room (one of the largest recording rooms in the state!) is filled with all the mojo you could need to spark your creativity. From the warm lighting to our grand piano, keyboards, guitars and other instruments, we’ve created a studio that feels like a second home for musicians. Check out the gallery!

HISTORY

Wizard Tone Studios was founded in 2015 by Adelaide-based musicians and long-time collaborators Adam Page (Producer, Label Manager & Artistic Director of Wizard Tone Records, Multi-Instrumentalist), James Brown (Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Guitarist), and Jarrad Payne (Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Drummer). What began as a shared creative space for writing and recording their own projects quickly evolved into a thriving hub for the wider musical community. The studio has since become one of Adelaide's leading destinations for tracking, mixing, and mastering albums, EPs, and demos.
